Front-End Software Engineering is my passion! I thrive on the zenerrific emotions at the intersection of fantastic UIs, design standards, a high degree of test coverage and awesome tooling.

I am a Java-GWT-Javascript developer based in Seattle, Washington. Go Huskies! I enjoy writing about Front-End development and have a popular blog at www.gwtsushi.info.

For over ten years I have been developing software-as-a-service web applications for a variety of interesting clients. I enjoy writing, designing, collaborating and always learning. I am also educated to PhD level in a technical subject.

On the User Interface side of things I have extensive experience with the Java - GWT framework. As well as the usual array of standard web development technologies AngularJS, Backbone, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5.

I enjoy working in a Test Driven Development and am a strong advocate of modularized, easily testable code. I aim to write software that is easy to test and utilizes many common design patterns and frameworks.
