My name is James Olson, and I am the owner of the webpage https://livingdeadprepper.com, which is intended to be an all-purpose site for the Prepper and Survivalist community. Living Dead Prepper will cover some of the following topics: Bushcraft, Disaster Preparedness, Emergency Food Supplies, Self Defense Training, Survival Kits, and much more.

I will also have guides on purchasing the best survival good and supplies. For example, LIving Dead Prepper currently features a guide for purchasing the best survival knife and an overview of various knife makers. I.E. Bark River Knives Company.

To tell you a little about myself, growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I was raised to appreciate the great outdoors. As a result I have been an outdoor enthusiast all of my life. For example, I remember fondly going on my first fishing trip at seven and hunting at 13. By the way, my first deer rifle, that I used, was a WWII vintage, 300 Savage.

Self Defense

I also vividly remember, during the Rodney King riots, seeing Korean shop owners defending their store from rioters. This made me keenly aware that you can't depend upon the local police force to protect you. That is why this site examines both lethal and practical non-lethal self-defense methods and showcase reviews of many popular handguns, like the Glock 29 and the KEL Tech PMR 30.

Politics

Living Dead Prepper is not meant to be political; as such, it will usually not feature the political story of the day. However, when the second amendment is dangered, I will give notice, and give you my viewpoint.
