Living Word Bible Church

Mesa, AZ

Focusing on families and faith, Living Word Bible Church seeks the Kingdom of God through its devotion to the Bible as the Word of God, by forming lasting relationships based on His teachings and by serving others. Maintaining high fiduciary standards, the church belongs to the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). The church’s Financial Officer, Pastor Jason Anderson, researched and wrote an article addressing control in church finance, which appeared in ECFA’s quarterly publication. Based in Arizona, Living Word Bible Church also voluntarily undergoes annual independent audits.

Since its founding more than four decades ago by Dr. C. Thomas and Maureen Anderson, Living Word Bible Church has grown to nearly 12,000 members on two campuses, with plans to build an additional four campuses. The church's outreach programs touch millions more people around the globe, online and through books, conferences, and other events. For a Cambodian housing project for 1,000 families displaced from their homes and relocated on flooded land, the church assisted in building 137 homes, as well as drainage and sewage systems and other necessities. In Uganda, the church donated more than $35,000 to Destiny Orphanage and Boarding School in Kampala and founded a college in Gulu to train pastors.
