"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive, and to do so with some passion, compassion, humor and style." - Maya Angelou
I am currently achieving my Masters of Science in Counseling and Student Personnel with an emphasis in College Student Affairs at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and earned my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2011. While at Eau Claire, I developed an incredible passion for working with college students and helping them succeed at each stage of their development throughout college as a Resident Assistant, while working in Admissions, and through other various activties.
At Minnesota State University, Mankato, I embrace every opportunity I am given and wear many hats across campus. One such opportunity is as the Academic Programming Coordinator for Residential Life in which I promote academic success for the students living in the Residence Halls. Another experience I have is working in the Career Development Center as a Graduate Intern. As well as while serving as an intern with New Student and Family Programs over the summer.
Upon graduating in 2013, I have a wide view of what my future in Student Affairs could hold; my career interests in Student Affairs fall in Residential Life, Career Development, First Year Experience, Admissions and many others, and is looking for the next opportunity, where ever it may take me across the country.
