Hello, I'm Liz!
I am a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience equipping a wide variety of audiences with effective interpersonal communication skills. I have a proven track record for teaching active listening skills clearly, simply, efficiently and effectively.
The personal attention that we give each other is a priceless gift, and attentive listening without a doubt can be one of the most important elements of that gift. Listening builds rapport and develops trust. It's also empowering and affirming: it implicity conveys "you are important; I want to hear what you have to say."

Training
I offer communication skills training that is tailored to meet the needs of your organization. I am based in the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area but am willing to travel.

- Empathy: Develop rapport and build trust quickly.
- Crisis Intervention: Assess for danger; provide appropriate support and resources.
- Suicide Assessment and Prevention: Ask simple questions, determine risk and connect individuals to help.
