Our Unseen Hope

My name isn't really Liz, but my story is the truth. I'm an adult survivor of childhood sexual abuse and an adult abuse survivor of abuse from my pastor. I'm not here to throw stones. I'm not even here to fix anyone. I'm here to write about the truth God is showing me about the lies I have believed about myself as a result of my abuse and also to understand the truth of who God says I am. If this site encourages you and gives you the strength to survive another day of whatever it is you are overcoming in your own life, then what I hope to accomplish here has been done. Surviving abuse is the hardest thing I've ever done. It's not for sissies and one cannot do it alone. I thank God for those Christians who have come along beside me and reminded me of the truth over and over again. I could not have survived this without them. However, my good Father, God, who has never let me down is the only One who gets all the glory. I pray this blog causes you to see Him as the good Father He really is.
