Freelance Events Manager based in East Kent with a broad range of experience in programming, managing and delivering:

*Public outdoor community festivals and events including the Canterbury Christmas Light Switch-on, Maidstone Mela, Ramsgate Festival, Festival of Projections, Herne Bay Festival, Whitstable Oyster Festival, Canterbury Food and Drink Festival, each with audiences of < 5000

*Corporate catered conferences, launches and award ceremonies including ThinkNation, Digibury Weekender, Canterbury Culture Awards and Beaney Museum re-opening <500 audience

*I love a challenge! Bespoke and unusual events which need creative out of the box thinking are just my thing. Most recently I've been working on the Canterbury Hop Pocket Race and Canterbury Cathedral Stone Auction. I also commissioned and installed the Dave Lee memorial bench in Canterbury outside the Marlowe Theatre.

*I'm comfortable managing numerous projects simultaneously, especially those with tight deadlines and even smaller budgets.

*Local authority and SAG paperwork? No problem. I worked for a local authority events team for 6 years, so am happy compiling event management plans, traffic management plans, risk assessments, scaled site plans and licensing applications. Happy to liaise with any necessary parties to get your permissions in place.

*Need to sell alcohol? I'm a personal licence holder.
