Welcome to my blog! I'm a total newb when it comes to expat blogging- Hopefully my writing will improve with experience! I'm the author; most of you know me- but for those of you that do not I am your typical all american, college educated, suburban girl. I drink coffee AND tea (and wine), I love to travel and take in as much scenery as I possibly can. I love reading, watching period dramas and decorating the many apartments that I have lived in. I've just relocated to the east of England with my incredibly intelligent, not your typical 'engineer-type', gold-hearted British husband.
We met early on doing our undergraduate and have been going strong for around 8 years- Thanks to Skype in the early years! After spending the last 6 or so years together in the states- working too hard and playing even harder, we made the decision to move to the UK to step back and enjoy life! Follow me as I experience all of the wonderful curiosities that are involved with being an expat!
