Aloha & Come All Ye Who Wander!
My name is Lizaelle (tongue twister I know) and I’m a Seattleite - born & raised. I work a typical 9-5 (well wait...actually my office is pretty rad and far from typical) and unlike my fellow millennial comrades, you'd probably find me reading or meditating; opposed to texting or posting my outfit of the day online. JK, that was totally a generalization to the people of my age group...we're actually not that bad :)
I've been writing ever since I could first pick up a pencil and when my parents had to force me to play piano at the age of 8 (I appreciate them for it now). I didn't become immersed into the scene, up until a few years ago, when I started interning for a magazine in Seattle. Our primary focus was fashion/art/culture and I was brought in to help target the millennial audience. I curated all the social media content in which we gave local-unknown artists and unsung heroes a platform to finally showcase their talent and beauty. I drew inspiration from my experiences and ended up starting a website and blog.
The website and blog are currently under construction, but you can preview an article I published a while back about musical genius, Flume.
I am so excited to spread awareness by sharing my new ideas and projects that I have been working on! A variety of topics will include but are not limited to: art, philosophy, music, culture, food (click link for recipes), fashion, society and equality/human rights. Coming soon I promise!
I have an unwavering thirst for knowledge and belief that all our experiences and connections we make serve as a purpose and can undoubtedly only add to the richness of the soul.
As always, spread Aloha <3
