Elizabeth Baertlein

I am a Minnesotan who has been living in Boston for the past two years. My photographic interests are diverse. I enjoy photographing rural Minnesota people and landscapes. I also enjoy photographing citydwellers and urban environments. I love the process of developing film and printing in the darkroom, and I also enjoy the flexibility and ease of use that comes with digital photography. I make my living as an English teacher at the college level. If I ever make money from my photos, it will be an unintended fringe benefit. My main goal with photography is to get myself (and others) to see things from new perspectives and to notice connections that aren't immediately apparent.
