Why I care about rural farming in Africa....

75% percent of all hungry children in Africa live on rural farms. Irrigation pumps can end the hunger epidemic and poverty cycle. With irrigation pumps, children of rural farmers can afford to go to school.

On a daily basis, I work with children who have never been denied the right to go to school. These children have never gone to bed hungry. All children throughout the world deserve to have their basic needs met. I want to see the day when this isn't just a hope, but a reality.
