Summary: Melrose School Committee - Former Melrose Human Rights Commissioner. EmergeMA Alum. I wear many hats: soccer coach, PTO mom, chemist, avid reader, ardent hockey fan, and general lifelong learner.

In 2015 I was elected to the Melrose school Committee, where I have served as Chair of the Finance and Facilities sub-committee. Prior to my election, I served as a Human Rights Commissioner for the City of Melrose. I have also been a high school science teacher and a chemistry/biology tutor for high school and college students.

In my professional life, I work to develop novel small molecules for use in the treatments of various therapeutic areas, most recently autoimmune diseases. I have contributed to a growing list of patents in the fields of inflammation and oncology. I earned a Master's of Science in Biochemistry from CSU Long Beach in 2005.
