I’m an experienced, professional copy-editor and proofreader. I specialise in working with students and independent academics, worldwide, for whom English is a second language, helping them to polish and perfect their written English.

I have a degree in Law, professional post-degree qualifications in insurance and have trained to exacting industry standards with the Publishing Training Company. I’m also an intermediate member of SfEP, the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.

As a native English speaker and with my meticulous eye for detail, I can eliminate errors, ensure consistency and polish your prose. I learnt French as an adult, so I fully understand the difficulties of written communication in a second language.
