Masters in Library and Information Science, undergraduate degree in Information Science and Technology. Background and educational focus in technology, web design, business communication, and young adult literature.

Currently looking for work as a social media consultant, private or public sector librarian, information manager, or records specialsit. I love challenges and fast-paced environments, encouraging employee engagement, and brokering positive and fruitful communication between employees and management.

I believe strongly in the power and influence of social media on a brand and encourage everyone to use social media in a way that engages with customers and clients. Some of my favorite social media folks are @Thinkgeek, @NASA, @NPRMonkeysee, and @Xeni.

In my free time, I sew, play with my cats, attend social media meetups, watch superhero movies, and volunteer at conventions. I'm also interested in space exploration, social justice, fandom, activism, politics, and theater.
