I'm working with orthopaedic surgeons to find new ways to evaluate knee function during recovery from anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.

My ongoing dissertation work combines motion capture data with multivariate statistics to detect subtle differences due to surgical technique.

I hope that this work will eventually help patients return to their sport and leisure activities more quickly after surgery and improve their quality of life.
