Liz May is an independent filmmaker with experience in producing, directing, assistant directing and filming logistics.

A hardworking MBA graduate from the Odette School of Business with specialization in Arts and Media Management from Schulich, Liz understands the numbers and managerial sides of the production industry. With extensive experience in the events and media field and a BA Honours with Distinction in Communications, Media, and Film, Elizabeth is armed to take on the world of production management.

It began with a love of performance from a young age - she was never happier than when she was on stage singing, dancing, or acting in front of an audience. That love for performance and the live event, plus a strong A-type personality - always wanting to control all the strings to create something bigger and something magical - pushed her towards directing. In school, Liz learned how all the parts of the production puzzle come together, and through experience on independent projects, she's put theoretical into practice and can help you avoid the many pitfalls of independent filmmaking.
