Liz R. Wong
Aurora, Illinois, United States
I am a student at Aurora University getting my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (expected to graduate in December 2014). With this degree I hope to go into sports information and technology. I have been involved in a variety of different sports on a variety of different levels. I have found that I am very passionate about sports and the energetic atmosphere they provide. I played soccer at the collegiate level where I learned about leadership, communication, team work, work ethic, and so many other qualities that will benefit me in the future.
I work for Aurora University Sports Information where I record game statistics, film sporting events, and update social media and online live feeds with the progress of all on campus athletic competitions. From this job, I have gained experience in the career field that I am interested in perusing after college. I am also a student coach for the Aurora University Women's Soccer program, where I primarily work with the goalkeepers. I have been a part of this program for six years now (four years as a player and two years as a coach) and it has been an honor to play and work for such a successful program. To further my coaching experience, last year I also coached the goalkeepers at West Aurora High School.
