Currently a resident of Jackson, MS, Liz Youngblood has more than two decades of experience in executive leadership in the healthcare industry. Most recently, she oversaw operations at the adult hospitals and clinics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. While there, she worked to enhance patient care and support communities through strategic development efforts. Currently, Liz Youngblood continues to assist the hospitals with strategic initiatives.

Previously, Youngblood served in several roles for Baylor Scott & White Health including vice president of operations and administration at Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas, Texas, President of Baylor Specialty Health Centers while also maintaining corporate responsibilities for operations and service lines. Her past positions include overseeing departments and services as the executive director of quality services at Richardson Regional Medical Center, where she led the organization to becoming the first healthcare recipient to receive the Texas Award for Performance Excellence through implementation of the Malcolm Baldrige framework. She also served as assistant vice president of quality services at the Medical Center of Arlington, and as case manager for Baptist St. Anthony's Health System. Prior to that she worked as a registered nurse in both Texas and Florida.

Liz Youngblood holds a master of business administration from Southern Methodist University and a bachelor of general studies from West Texas A&M University. She earned her registered nurse diploma from the Ona M. Wilcox School of Nursing where she was the recipient of the school's leadership award.

Liz has been recognized as a distinguished alumna by the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and currently serves on their alumni board.
