I am a hospice social worker by day with a special interest in assisting families with adjustment to and appreciation of the miracle of the transition time. It does not take a special person. All of us are special, no one is more special than anyone else. We all will have to see our loved ones die at some point. I have already had my fair share of deaths, thus my comfort with being with the dying. This is part of the cycle of life. It is only sad if we are in denial that this is the reality. Life is time-limited.
