Leon Jackson Davenport

I have worked in New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia for many of the major broadcast and cable outlets in my 30-year career. I was nominated for an Emmy for "Best Sports Feature" when I was working for WPHL-17's Philadelphia Phillies broadcasts.

My photographs were featured at Gallery 21 in Los Angeles. Now, I am editing my essay on The Homeless, as I continue to work on personal projects.

My commentary and short stories were published in The Burlington County Times, 6Sentences, The Full of Crow Quarterly, Jeanette Cheezum's Cavalcade of Stars, Foundling Review, At-The-Bijou|Blogspot and Powder Burn Flash. I am proud to work with the Harbinger *33 group which will be publishing an anthology of short stories.
