Ljiljana Maletin Vojvodic visited numerous locations throughout Europe where she in conversations with the locals, made detailed research and solo observations about the way of living, art and culture of the places visited and produced fictional and non-fictional narratives.

In her writings, she comments on various aspects of life (cultural, imagological, sociological, historical...) in different parts of Europe and compares them to her life.

She had cooperations with various international projects and attended writers' retreats, and reached small rural farms in Portugal, Finland, Norway and Greenland as well as urban areas in Paris, London, Barcelona, Bergen, Reykjavik, Vienna, Prague, Stockholm, Helsinki, Lisbon, Rome, Berlin, Moscow, St. Petersburg...

Her writings are focused on images of the North: fictional stories, identities and ideas.
