Lindsay Mikesell

My name is Lindsay Mikesell, and I've been asking God for a passion for something. God has impressed upon my heart my passion for marriages as well as my passion for women to understand their identity in light of Christ.

I have NO clue how to act upon these passions. Much like many people God has called, I feel completely unable to fulfill any kind of passion with regards to marriage. After 10 years, I called it quits on my first marriage, and while I don't believe God "wanted" me to get divorced, I do believe that he is using my experience to change me into the kind of woman, wife and potentially mother that He has created me to be. Additionally, I have struggled for a long time with my own self-image; I have struggled with who I am versus who God says I am. It is in these two ideas that I find my passions.
