Lorie Hammerstrom

I have been teaching 4th and 5th graders in Quincy, MA since 1986. My love of science has grown over that time. Sharing science with 10 year olds is the best of the best. The kids inspire me to want to know more. Science has always been my favorite subject, but in 2011 I attended Honeywell Space Academy for teachers in Hunstville, Alabama. From there I have become a space enthusiast. One day I hope one of my students comes back to see me to tell me that they are now working for NASA! That would be amazing!
