Lauren Piasecki

I've wanted to teach since I was five years old. I love teaching and am an advocate of always learning and growing in my profession.

During college, I worked with grades Kindergarten, Second, and Third. I worked at the YMCA for five years during summer camp with children from the ages 2-18. My first year teaching I taught fourth grade. My second year was ninth grade math including Algebra and Geometry. Currently, I teach second grade.

I'm also involved in a group through my school system called the Pinnacle Leaders Network. Teachers are selected to be a part of this organization for two years to grow and expand in their knowledge of best practices for education. We learn how to best incorporate technology with our lessons in the classroom while staying up-to-date on current research in education.

Overall, I've found I love teaching, and I love the little guys! I also love movies, quotes, and being with family and friends.
