LaNae Kearse is currently a sophomore and Bonner Scholar at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. She is majoring in Political Science and double minoring in ADW and English with the intentions of becoming a political commentator. Upon graduating, Kearse plans on returning home to Washington D.C, to attend Georgetown Univeristy or George Washington University's law school. After graduate school, Kearse hopes to pursue a career in media through politics, as a political commentator for CNN.

Kearse is currently an intern for Friendship Public Charter School in Washington, D.C.
