LeTerrence “Keys” as they call him, overcame depression during his college experience, which changes his life forever. Dr. Kalu Ogbaa stated to this young man,” He walks with his head down because he knows his people are depressed but he should walk with his head high.” These words resonate with Keys today reminding him to never look down and walk tall. I have become empathetic to the social pressures of young people and I’m willing to share my life experience.

Through many obstacles in life, Keys stayed focused on his goals of graduating from college. He has traveled throughout Europe and South America playing professional basketball. He has also worked as an educator in New York City Board of Education and Hempstead, Long Island . My motto in life is, “I am as Great as I want to be.”
