I am a Compassionate Disrupter. I have degrees in Behavioural Sciences (Psychology), and English. I am a fellowship and OAS Scholarship recipient for the Master's in Management of Development at the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO) and Universita Degli Studi di Torino
I was called to develop people and things.
I successfully grew myself through the adverse experiences of my life and now equip others to do same through my mentorship, thought leadership, and positions I have held in organisations.
I am an advocate for mental health; and sexual purity among Christian single men and women.
Being an avid volunteer and social impact enthusiast, I have volunteered with the United Nations online volunteers platform (UNV online) supporting the work of international agencies in India and Spain (2011-2012). I have also served as the Director of Programmes on the board of the Association of Female Executives of Trinidad and Tobago (AFETT) NGO in 2015; sat on the Children’s Ministry’s Advisory Committee of the South Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Trinidad (2011-2014); and worked with the Miss T&T differently-abled Queen Show 2013 helping to train, support, and build the capacity of the contestants.
Apart from this I advise individuals and early stage NGOs on communication strategy, innovation, and organisational development in order to increase visibility and achievement.
I have appeared in Thrive Global; Medium Magazine sHeroes series; the Good Men Project blog; Leadpages.com; Up Journey; Success Consciousness; and Leaders in Heels Australian Magazine. I am published in Africology: the Journal of Pan-African Studies and am a contributing author to the book My Turn to Lead by Dr. Tonisha Pinckney. In 2018, I was recognised on Guyanese Girls Rock.
