Lloyd Burgess

Entrepreneur, IT consultant, and Foodie in Auckland, New Zealand

I was born in Auckland, New Zealand, lived in the UK for many years, had a couple of years in Italy and now back to Auckland.

Professionally, I have worked for many years in the Telecoms industry and have a broad and deep experience of BSS/OSS architecture & design, agile development and corporate IT governance. Companies I have worked in include Virgin Media, Orange, HP, WorldCom, Vodafone & BT. I now provide my knowledge and experience as an independent consultant.

Food has always been a passion and in 1999 I won the BBC Masterchef competition.

As a self confessed 'coffee geek' I founded TheCoffeeRoasters.co.uk which provided speciality coffee both online and though a personalised subscription service.

Cycling is a great love and I restored my 1960's Legnano road bike, that I raced as a teenager.
