As the BDM of IVT he works to promote and deploy cloud based Association Management Systems for professional organisations, associations and not for profits. The technology transforms organisations and creates efficiencies that allow the organisations to greater invest in their causes. IVT is a strong social justice / high tech organisation.
Lloyd spent 5 years researching, promoting and educating PR practitioners on new industry developments, social media and best practice. This included the development of the PRIA's social media policy, engagement and evaluation strategy.
In the 90’s he launched Australia’s first gay and lesbian PR Company “Out Communication” where he worked on accounts including Tooheys, Smirnoff, World AIDS Day, Lesbian and Gay Anti-Violence Project, Pride and many more. His consultancy’s work with Roche Pharmaceutical’s HIV portfolio included launching the first Australian protease inhibitor and viral load test, two medical advances that transformed the course of AIDS. He set up the AIDS Media Awards where journalists were recognised for best practice reporting on the issue of HIV/AIDS. Lloyd created an AIDS media guide which assisted journalists with the critical role of language when reporting on the illness to better inform people about the risk of HIV transmission and to minimise stigmatisation.
His achievement have been recognised with the first World AIDS Day Medal and a Certificate of Commendation from the PRIA.
He is also a well known underground Sydney DJ - having played to crowds of 28,000 people (including NY2K and Mardi Gras).
