Linda MacArthur

I graduated from Western University with an Honours Bachelor of Music (1988), from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Education, from the University of Toronto with a Master of Music (1999), and from OISE/UT with a doctorate in Education (Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning). I have held positions with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board (elementary music teacher - mostly grades 7 & 8 instrumental music), Queen's University (where I taught the Honours Music Specialist for teachers in an on-line format), and Boston University (where I taught Research Methods and the Sociology & Psychology of Music Education in an on-line format). I have published in the Canadian Music Educator, and completed a paper in the Proceedings of the International Symposium on Performance Science, and currently have a paper in review for Gifted Child Today. I have also presented numerous papers at conferences throughout North America (mostly at the American Education Research Association's Annual Conference).
