Luís Martinho

I am a Software Engineer at Tynker, and I take care of the Porto office.

Prior to that I worked as a freelancer in the TopTal network with several clients like Sports Engine (acquired by NBC Sports), Idle Gaming (acquired by GSN Games), and others.

I was one of the co-founders of Hive Solutions, and I started my professional career at Wipro where I had the chance to work with clients in Portugal, in the UK, and India.

I hold an Masters degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering from FEUP, where I've taught introductory programming courses before graduating. I'm married, have a one year old daughter and a seven year old dog.

My interests vary, but I tend to go deep. I'm currently very interested in cooking (where I studied under Chef Luís Francisco), x86-64 assembly (where I'm porting Programming From the Ground Up book to x86-64 and the XNU kernel).
