Student, Course Developer, and Educational Technology Developer and Researcher in Tallahassee, Florida
I'm passionate about using educational technology to see individuals grow in their metacognitive, self-regulation, and planning skills. I believe that technology is meant to be inclusive, not exclusive, and that visual, motor, and auditory disorders should not be a secondary priority when designing new technology or interfaces. It is of the utmost importance that we do not make students dependent on tools as a part of the learning process. Thus, the end goal of any of my educational technology treatments is student independence from the tool. It's about the skills you learn not making you dependent on our product.
