Laura Bretherton

I'm a PhD student in Marine Biology, and I'm passionate about the environment and the natural world. My research focuses on the effects of ocean acidification (changes to the chemistry of seawater due to increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere) on marine organisms. When I have time, I enjoy taking photos of nature, and my work has given me some fantastic opportunities for it. Finishing my thesis in 2014, I look forward to the next step on my journey.
