A non-binary queer feminist, farmer, book critic, poet, and writer in rural Virginia, I'm currently adding and removing layers as the weather makes some radical swings.

A finalist for the 2018 Janet B. McCabe Poetry Award and the 2018 Hal Prize, my creative work has been published in Gulf Stream, Gemini, IthacaLit, Menacing Hedge, SWWIM Every Day, and Peculiar, among others.

Named a 2018-2019 Emerging Critic by the National Book Critics Circle, my critical work is published or forthcoming at The Believer, Orion, LitHub, The Millions, Foreword Reviews, Kirkus Reviews, The Los Angeles Review, Literary Mama, and the NBCC blog, Critical Notes.

Direct all inquiries about the best layering techniques, book reviews, writing projects, and other business to: [email protected]. My pronouns are they/them.
