I am a Vietnamese girl growing up in a special period when we build the country from over 1000 years of wars and conflicts. I call it the time of change. I see the change in a new building rising from the sky in my neighborhood every few weeks, a new road leading to places that for years had belonged to only indigenous ethnic minority people, the replacement of bikes over bicycles then cars over bikes on the street, the rising gap between the rich and the poor, a new trend in the young people's lifestyle that had once been frowned upon and banned in previous generations following with the extinction of a traditional value or practice.

As part of the history, I believe this time wont ever happen again in the future. I would like to remember it by telling stories of myself and other people around me, so at one point in the future, we can look back and see how we used to live, and how changes were made for things to be the way they are.
