John Lobert

John Lobert is a legislative and regulatory affairs lawyer.

He was state government affairs counsel for Aetna Life & Casualty in Hartford, Connecticut, and later served as vice president of government affairs for the Erie Insurance Group.

He also served as senior vice president of government affairs for the National Association of Independent Insurers, senior vice president of state government affairs for the Alliance of American Insurers, and senior vice president of state government relations for the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America.

In addition to being a lawyer, John is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and an Associate in Reinsurance.

He is a frequent guest speaker and a writer on current insurance and public policy issues.
