My birthday is my favorite day of the year because it is the same day I met my best friend, my twin. We are fraternal and coincidently, my twin and I couldn’t be any more different. Growing up with my twin was often challenging in a number of places. At home, I was forced to share everything from my room, clothes, and of course my birthday. At school, we were separated into different classes because my school's system strongly believed in twin telekinesis and they feared we could use it to cheat. Separated in social world's we had different friends and grew quite unique personalities. She's chatty. I'm quiet. She's an extrovert while I'm an introvert. I'm half blind and she has 20:20 vision. Often people would question me, "Do you get along with your sister?" since we are obviously opposite personalities. The answer to that is yes. But besides the fact that we live together and have to love each other we both enjoy music, singing and dancing terribly, shopping excessively online (her more than me), and hanging out with loved ones. Currently, I'm a freshman at the University of Georgia and she attends Tuskegee University with my older sister. In reality, we are further apart than ever. She is studying to walk around in suits as an Agribusiness major while I walk around in lab coats as a Food Science major. The weirdest thing is sometimes I manage to see us cracking up together over the same tweet miles apart. It's strange, twin telepathy might be real.
