Lofty Productions was founded in 2008 by six recent high school graduates with the lofty goal to produce and perform a play on their own. Funded by a minimal budget of graduation money, the company produced and performed Alan Ball’s comedy Five Women Wearing the Same Dress at the now closed 3 Ring Circus Arts Education Center. Temporarily on hiatus when the co-founders left for college, Lofty Productions is now in full swing to produce the upcoming short play Cicada, premiering as a part of the 2014 Fringe Festival in November.
