Logan Dorsett

Logan is a student at the Rawls College of Business double majoring in Energy Commerce and Marketing; he also has aspirations to work in the Oil and Gas industry as a Professional Landman and his graduation is slated for May 2018.
Logan is from the growing suburban town of Waxahachie, Texas which is about 30 miles south of Dallas. He is a lifelong learner with a thirst for knowledge and possesses the discipline to achieve any goal and overcome any obstacle. An initiative that is unparalleled can be seen through his business which was created in 2010 and has grown into a thriving small town baseball glove repair facilitator. He is also heavily involved at Texas Tech; his involvement includes active memberships in Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Eta Sigma, Gamma Beta Phi, Energy Commerce Association, Student Business Council, and Chancellor's Ambassador. Leadership roles serve as building blocks of character for Logan. As the Public Relations officer for Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma, he works diligently to maintain communications on behalf of the organization to it’s 2400 members.
In the Summer of 2016, Logan had the opportunity to intern with ISN and was placed on the Pipelines team. Here, he helped manage ExxonMobil, Genesis, American Midstream, and Genesis pipeline accounts. These responsibilities included pulling contractor operator qualifications, account management and review, and assisting in a site visit with American Midstream. Finally, Logan had the opportunity to formally present a solution to a badging system costing the company both time and money for management. As a result of his work, ISN will now save upwards of $40,000 a year on contractor badging systems.
Logan is striving to become a successful individual in order to give back to the communities that built him. This goal is a strong motivation for Logan that will propel him in the right direction.
