I am a Midwestern farm kid turned Marine who has built a parallel path in entrepreneurship grounded in discipline, systems thinking, and respect for honest work. I entered the Marine Corps as a Motor Transport Mechanic and went on to serve across three distinct specialties spanning logistics, shipping, and business management. That breadth of experience fundamentally shaped how I approach leadership, operations, and accountability.

I am currently still on active duty, balancing military service with business ownership as my Marine Corps career enters its final chapter. As I transition toward retirement, my focus is increasingly directed toward scaling and strengthening the businesses I have built, with the intent of dedicating myself full time to entrepreneurship in the near future.

My post-service trajectory led me back to automotive work, a field I enjoyed earlier in life and one that offered the right mix of challenge, service, and problem-solving. When I found Beachview Auto Service in Morehead City, North Carolina, I was drawn to its history as a family-owned operation and the trust it had earned within the community. My goal was never to reinvent it, but to grow it carefully while preserving its integrity.

Today, I see myself as a strategist and business builder focused on sustainable growth, exceptional quality, and long-term relationships. My aim is to grow a strong single-location business into a multi-location company without losing the small business feel, honesty, and trust that customers value. Every customer is treated like a close friend or family member, and honesty, transparency, and integrity are non-negotiable in every decision.

My businesses serve residents, commercial clients, and military families across Carteret and Onslow Counties through automotive repair, vehicle rentals, and vacation home rentals. I specialize in solving complex transportation problems as cost effectively as possible, with an emphasis on performing only what is necessary to keep vehicles safe, reliable, and on the road for as long as possible.

Outside of work, I enjoy hands-on DIY projects, homesteading, and raising animals with my family. I am deeply involved in supporting my three sons as they pursue their interests, including football, wrestling, soccer, scuba diving, aviation, and operating farm equipment. I also take great pride in supporting my wife, a Nurse Practitioner and Chief Clinical Officer who helped grow a wound care company from an early-stage startup into a large-scale organization serving patients across the United States. Watching that growth firsthand has reinforced my belief in disciplined scaling, mission-driven leadership, and the power of strong teams.
