Meg Logue Malone

Hi, I’m Meg. My real name is Margaret but everyone calls me Meg - and for some reason I can't figure out how to change it on D2L!

I have been teaching Music and Drama at an alternative secondary school in the Toronto District School Board for the past 11 years. I have taught all of the levels of general drama as well as some special focus courses such as Playwriting, Improvisation, and Drama Production. I've also taught a wide range of music classes at all the levels including Vocals, Guitar, Piano, Small Ensemble, and MIDI. I have a lot of fun!

The students at my school are older than typical high school students and there is a large percentage who suffer from poor mental health, which is how they ended up at our alternative school. This can be challenging, but I feel lucky to teach subjects which really allow me to connect with my students and build community.

I took my Music Honours Specialist as soon as I could... a long time ago... I'm really looking forward to focusing on excellence in Drama for the next 10 weeks.
