A greenie living on the Isle of Wight. Protecting and enhancing the natural environment for the benefit of nature and security of our own future is my passion. I grew up in Chadwell Heath, East London and moved to the Isle of Wight 18 years ago. In more recent years I became a member of the Island Savoyards, Singing Gilbert & Sullivan and was elected last year as a Parish Councillor. I have been a vegetarian for 24 years and feel that animal welfare should be at the heart of all of us. The future of society as we know it with the threat of peak oil is an ongoing issue that I am aware of and try to adjust my lifestyle to take this into account.
