I am a rambling, juxtaposed, and halfway backwards dreamer of a person in life and unfortunately for any readers I may have, it will translate into my writing. In response to illness I have taken some time off from work and in response to that I have gone completely out of my mind with boredom. I needed to find something, easy, low impact, but engaging to do. In high school I had taken two semesters of metalsmithing/jewelry and remember loving it. I still have a few stones set in bezels from a bracelet I had made and my mom has a silver dragon I cast. In October I started collecting my old and broken jewelry, raiding my and my father's tool chests and making small trips to hobby lobby and such. Some skills do not come back to you, and after watching me spend hours trying to solder with minimal success my dad suggested I take a metalsmithing class. I am now halfway through the six week class and starting out on my own at home on an adventure I would like to share with you.
