Luke Lombardo’s first love is fitness, as witnessed by his credentials as a personal trainer, and indoor cycling and boot camp instructor. Luke has been a dedicated athlete from a very young age. He belongs to running, swimming, and triathlon teams in NYC. He also competes in numerous marathons, with a record high of placing 16th in his age group for the LA Marathon. In addition, he plans to compete in his first Ironman triathlon in the near future.

Luke's high energy, athleticism and likeability have attracted press coverage, including The Today Show, E! News, Good Morning America, InStyle, NY1, NY Daily, Metro NY, and Gawker, to name a few.

Luke is also known as Lucas, Lucas Paul, or his alter ego, LuPaul (coining the name "LuPaul's Drag Race" for his classes). In his spare time, Luke is deeply interested in gymnastics – he loves to watch his hero, McKayla Maroney, compete in gymnastics, and enjoys practicing gymnastics at the Chelsea Piers.
