London Renee Ivey -- Realist, mother of three, feminist, and lover of words. A Communication studies major at Middle Georgia State College, she has a phobia of double yolked eggs because they serve as a reminder of the beauty in the fragility of life. She loves country living, music, ranch dressing, and solitude.

This award recipient of the 2015 MGSC Honor's Convocation is finishing her last semester as a Communication Studies (A.A.) major and is hoping to begin New Media Studies this fall. Her passion is writing, and she hopes to one day be Shonda Rhimes' successor. She enjoys writing poetry in her spare time and was featured in the 2015 edition of The Fall Line Review, Middle Georgia State's literary magazine. She is currently employed as a cook and a waitress at Huddle House.
