Lonnie Painter

Lonnie Painter has decades of experience with cannabis, starting as an activist in the 1960s.

In 2008 he helped found the Laguna Woods Medical Cannabis cooperative in Laguna Woods, CA.

For the last five years he has worked closely with a group of doctors, researchers and patients. He attended the prestigious master class of Bedrocan, in Leiden, the Netherlands.

Bedrocan is the only grower of pharmaceutical cannabis in Europe. It is the supplier of medical cannabis to the Dutch government and exports its prescription medicine cannabis to six countries in Europe and Canada. Bedrocan is associated with the University of Lieden.

In 2013, Lonnie attended the International Associastion for Cannabinoid Medicines in Cologne, Germany. In 2014 he participated in the Eighth National Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics in Portland, OR, sponsored by UCSF Medical School and Patients Out of Time.
