Lonnie Paulos

A pioneer in the field of orthopedic surgery, Dr. Lonnie Paulos has developed innovative treatment methods throughout his three-decade-long career. A joint preservation expert, Lonnie Paulos, MD, works to introduce new, minimally invasive techniques, including arthroscopic shoulder decompression. A recognized professor, lecturer, sports consultant, and publisher of almost 100 scientific articles, Dr. Paulos is currently practicing in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Leon Paulos has served in several notable professional roles throughout his career, including Research Director and Medical Director of The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Salt Lake City from 1991 to 2003. Relocating to Texas in 2005, Dr. Paulos accepted a post as Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, teaching students at the Baylor College of Medicine. Additionally, he served as Medical Director of the Andrews-Paulos Research & Education Institute in Gulf Breeze, Florida, from 2007 to 2011. In his spare time, Dr. Paulos enjoys collecting antiques and studying natural history and geology.
