Fluent in French and Spanish, Lonny James Erickson maintains an extensive background in the field of public health as a researcher and consultant, particulary from Montreal, Quebec (Canada). With over twenty years of focused experience, Lonny James Erickson has worked with the Division of Immunization at Health Canada, the Centre de Recherche Clinique at Hôpital Charles LeMoyne, the Agence d'évaluation des technologies médicales et des interventions en santé du Québec, the Réseau Québécois de recherche sur l'utilisation des médicaments, the World Health Organization, BioMedCom Consultants Inc., and other organizations. Lonny James Erickson began his career as an undergraduate at McGill University, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. Later, he earned his Graduate Diploma in Community Health and his Master's degree in Clinical Sciences at the Université de Sherbrooke. He continued his academic studies at the University of Montréal, where he completed his postgraduate work, earning a Doctorate in Public Health. Today, Dr. Erickson leverages his knowledge and experience toward research and consultation on an economic evaluation project on recently developed pneumococcal conjugate vaccines in conjunction with the Institut national de santé publique du Québec. Additionally, he was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at Laval University, where he is focused on developing and implementing a framework for evaluation of immunization programs. Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Erickson was previously the Vice-President of the Portageurs Canoe Club, co-founder of the Groupe de Protection et acces à la Riviere Rouge, and the Montreal Kayak Club (CCKEVM).
