Adela López Artázcoz

Hello, I’m Adela. I define myself as a mother of three children, who works in the financial sector in Operations world. I am passionate about my two “jobs”, being a mother and working in a bank, although I must admit that being a mother is the one that keeps me up at night. I work in Madrid at ING and I am in charge of Operations department for Spain and Portugal. I handle many areas from Know Your Customer department to Customer Support and Operations. It is precisely this variety that I like the most because it allows me to have a comprehensive view of banking activities.

I started my professional career in BBVA, in the commercial area of companies, 7 years later I moved to Fortis/BNP Paribas also for 7 years and I reached ING in 2010. In 2013 I decided to make the leap to the world of operations, that truly attracted me to have an integral view of the bank. In 2023, I became a board member of Iberpay, as a representative of ING, where I am enjoying this experience a lot, because I have discovered I am a passionate about the world of payments, which are also undergoing a revolution.

In short, I am a very dynamic person eager to keep learning, and who enjoys working with challenges.
