Nieko Lopez

Nieko Lopez, a native performing artist on California's Central Coast, has been wowing audiences with his unique styles in contemporary, modern and lyrical dance for three years. He's not just a dancer and choreographer, but a master class teacher as well, for both dancers and non-dancers. He has 6 years of experience working onstage and off, from performer and choreographer to set technician. Nieko has assisted multiple Emmy award winning choreographer Suzy Miller in projects ranging from aerial dance, show choir, and theater productions, to professional concert work. This past year, Nieko has begun to branch out from Suzy's wings and is becoming a recognized choreographer and dancer on the Central Coast. He specializes in contemporary, jazz, lyrical, African, aerial silks, and high concept dances, and works with beginning dancers to advanced/pros. As an acclaimed dancer on the Central Coast, Nieko is known for taking dancers further into the emotion of dance and knowing how to move an audience.
